Why mix sour cream with gelatin

You can quickly prepare a jelly cake with just a few ingredients. As a result, you will get a sweet dessert with different layers and sour cream base.

Recipe cake with jelly ingredients
  • 500g sour cream
  • 150g powdered sugar
  • 25g gelatin
  • 2-3 packs of jelly (or more)
  • 100 ml of milk


Preparation
  1. Pour gelatin with milk and leave it to swell for half an hour.


  2. Dilute the jelly with boiling water. If the pack says to add 500 ml of water, add 350, etc. Take different packs so that jelly alternated for dessert.


  3. Beat the powdered sour cream, add the heated swollen gelatin.


  4. Collect the cake: pour the first layer of jelly or sour cream and put in the refrigerator. Wait till it freezes.

  5. After that, fill with another layer of either jelly or sour cream. We need to make sure that there is an alternation of layers.




If you want to develop this dish, add to the base rubbed cookies. Then it will look more like a cake. And the top can be decorated with cream.
