Getting rid of old things before the New Year is a tradition that has taken root in many countries. In Italy, on New Year’s Eve, it is customary to throw everything unnecessary out of the window. Therefore, tourists at this time should be especially careful, because in addition to dishes, even furniture often flies down.

We usually get rid of old things during the New Year cleaning. And may not act as radically as the Italians, but there is a certain sense in such clutter. After all, removing unnecessary things that do not add anything useful to the space, a person only makes his home cleaner. As a result, there is room for something interesting and new. What things to throw away and what to leave behind?



What things to throw away

1. Old discs with music and movies
   Many people have disks that have been around for many years. And a person may no longer have a device that works with such media. Songs with movies are easy to find online. But boxes of discs are still stored on shelves and collect dust. Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to them.
   
   
   
   
2. Empty bottles and cans
   Of course, if you like to regularly engage in conservation, then having a certain stock of cans is quite reasonable. However, often people simply collect all sorts of cute containers, hoping that they will someday be useful for something. The right moment still does not come, and the containers only take up space. 3. Office supplies
   When all the pencils, pens, erasers and other offices are stored in one place, it gives the impression that there is everything you need. But when there is a need to urgently find a writing pen or some paper clip, it can be a difficult task.    Ensuring that all foods are eaten on time is difficult. Also, not everyone follows the contents of the first aid kit and the shelf life of everything that is here. And it is better to throw out the delay than then consciously or unconsciously use it for its intended purpose.

   Of course, it is a pity to throw out old pots, worn cutting boards, cracked plates and other kitchen utensils that have served for many years. But there's nothing we can do. And if you have to buy something new, then you need to get rid of something old, otherwise there will soon be no room in the kitchen at all.
7. School crafts
   There's nothing wrong with keeping a child's handicraft in a prominent place for a while. But if the child has already become interested in something else and has long forgotten about his work of art, then why keep his old craft for many years?
