Igor could never have imagined that his once beautiful marriage and family life would fall apart. That his wife will leave him for another man, and little Danila will be left without a mother for 5 years.



Igor and Anastasia Igor and Anastasia lived together for more than one year. By the time of their 7th wedding anniversary, they were preparing their 6-year-old son, Danila, for school. Their life together was as good as possible. At least that's what Igor thought. His wife had nothing to complain about. He never stopped loving her or paying attention to her. Their son grew up in love and care. They lived in comfort and comfort.

But at some point Igor began to notice that Anastasia had changed. It has become more alienated and closed. Igor often found her sleeping on the sofa in the living room in the morning. When he became concerned about her condition and began asking questions, Anastasia replied that she wanted to be alone. Igor treated this desire with understanding. He trusted his wife and saw nothing in her behavior.



But his trust came to an end when acquaintances told him that for a long time Anastasia from work brought some man in his car. It is surprising that Igor did not notice anything for so long. He couldn't believe his ears. However, it was worth admitting that the stranger was the perfect explanation for Anastasia’s behavior.

When she returned from work, Igor asked about everything. She did not deny that she had another man. Instead of an expected quarrel and scandal, Igor watched Anastasia pack up.

- Danila will stay with me, Igor said.

- Well, Anastasia calmly replied, which made Igor uncomfortable.

- And you just leave him? You won't even try to take it with you?

Anastasia sighed. She fastened the zipper on her suitcase and put it on wheels.

- My... Sergey is not ready to live with me and Danila. I'll come back to get my things when nobody's here.

Igor did not know how to react to this. Disappointment in his beloved woman, in everything that he so valued and protected, did not give him peace for a long time. Daniel never said goodbye to his mother. She did not want to meet her son, so Igor had to come up with stories about the fact that her mother was on a business trip or somewhere else on business.



Separation from his mother Danil hard endured time without his mother, and for Igor it was one of the most difficult periods in his life. But in the end, the boy came to terms with the fact that his mother “on a business trip” forever. Father and son lived quietly. Danila studied well, and Igor threw all his strength to provide for his son.

It's been years. Danila became an active teenager, and Igor acquired a light gray hair in his temples. In the evenings, they played board games or on a game console. We were out of town for the weekend. Their relationship was friendly, and Igor was very proud of it.



One evening they knocked on the door and Igor went to open it. Anastasia stood on the doorstep. She looked beautiful and well-groomed. Expensive coat, dyed hair and makeup – it was clear that she lived better than Igor. He invited her in, to which the woman agreed with a smile. Anastasia’s gaze immediately stopped at Danila, who went into the corridor. The boy froze and didn't say a word.

- Hello, Danya! said hello to Anastasia, taking off her high-heeled boots. She came closer to him. - How are you?

Danila didn't answer. His face expressed a lot of things, and there was only part of the joy.

- Forgive me for missing so suddenly. And I'm sorry I didn't see you. I know it was hard for you, but it wasn't easy for me either.

She continued to speak while Danila looked at her with her eyes wide open. Then Igor called everyone for tea. It became known that Anastasia now lives in another city. Her husband makes a lot of money, and now he does not mind the presence of Danila.

- That's why I came for Dana. I can't stay here long, I have to go home.

- How long do you want to invite him? asked Igor.

- I thought it was forever. If Danechka does not mind, Anastasia smiled. She looked at Danila in anticipation of a smile. But she came out unsure.

Igor knew that Danila wanted to be near her mother. But it's not good to get out of your way for an incomprehensible life in another city. He saw that Danila was not in a position to make an adequate decision. He therefore proposed the following:

- Danil, you don't have to go now. You can go for the weekend, look around, so to speak.



The choice between parents was decided. The main thing was for Danila, he had to decide who to stay with. Igor did not want to make a fuss or start a fight with a woman who had betrayed him. On the one hand, he was glad that she was back in his son’s life. But now Igor was afraid to be alone.

He spent the weekend on his own. He tried not to think about how perhaps Danila was doing well in Anastasia's new home. But still those 2 days were full of anxiety. He didn't want to be alone.



Peels on Sunday evening Danila returned home. Before going to bed, Igor asked him:

- Well? Will you stay with your mom?

- No, the boy shook his head negatively. My mom has an uncle, and I have one. I'll stay with you. Our mother (if she wants to) comes to us.

At that moment Igor almost cried with happiness. He hugged his son and said good night.
