The son of a Mexican mother will save thousands of women! 200 sensors of his invention every day.

Every year around the world, breast cancer affects about one and a half million women, and only a tiny part of the disease is diagnosed in time. Breast cancer occupies the first place among oncological diseases that affect the fair sex, and the main weapon against it is early diagnosis.

Dear women, the earlier cancer is detected, the easier and faster the cure is! Oncology is not a sentence, but regular mammography is the key to female longevity. However, it is not a single mammogram. Editorial "Site" An 18-year-old boy from Mexico has the potential to save millions of women around the world.

When Julian Kant was only 13, he experienced a difficult ordeal: his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and, alas, doctors did not give her any chance of recovery. If the mother of a very young boy turned to specialists on time, troubles would have been avoided.

Having started cancer, the woman lost both mammary glands, but, fortunately, survived. Julian’s mother’s illness prompted him to make unchildish decisions: I have to invent something that will help women easily diagnose them. early-stage breast cancer...

So Julián Cantu, at the age of 17, with four colleagues, founded his own company, Higia Technologies, which developed a diagnostic bra for the early detection of breast cancer. Called Eva, the bra is equipped with 200 sensors that help to effectively track changes in breast temperature, shape and weight.

This invention is intended primarily for women who have a genetic predisposition to breast cancer, and for those women who do not neglect their own health. Eva sends all the data received to a special application that can be downloaded to a smartphone or desktop computer.

“Why a bra, exactly? It allows you to examine the mammary glands every time in the same position, and most importantly, it is enough to wear only one hour a week, explains the young inventor. The principle of operation of the “smart” bra is extremely simple: biosensors determine the thermal conductivity of various zones of the breast.

An increase in temperature at one of the sites may indicate the presence of the disease, because, as is known, tumors in the mammary gland increase blood circulation in the tissues, which, in turn, leads to a noticeable increase in local temperature.

“When the body attacks a tumor, blood vessels begin to grow around it, and the more they grow, the higher the local temperature,” said Julian Cantu. The advantage of this diagnostic method is obvious: the temperature is always measured in the same place, and the indicators are always accurate.

Another important factor that a diagnostic bra monitors is tissue elasticity. The tactile sensors that dot the device produce smooth vibrations that stimulate breast tissue.

Artificial intelligence algorithms analyze the data and determine the presence of abnormal neoplasms. The inventor of the device claims that this method of diagnosis is much better than the usual radiography, because it does not cause any side effects.

Juliana has already been awarded the President of Mexico Prize for scientific achievement, and at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, the guy and his team won the main prize - 20 thousand US dollars for further development of their project.

Today, the guy is 18, but his tenacity can be envied by many. His difficult childhood experience gave rise to a brilliant invention that could save the lives of millions of women. We believe that hard work will bear fruit, because early diagnosis Breasts are the key to a painless cure and a happy future.
