According to Ayurveda an imbalance of the doshas and the subsequent process of contraction of a disease called samprapti, or pathogenesis of the disease. In the process of development of the disease goes through several distinctive stages, a good knowledge of which is useful in the early diagnosis of diseases.

Diagnosis of disease in AyurvedaSo Ayurveda developed the technique of the diagnostic process consisting of six stages called Kriya (action) Kal (time), or gradual manifestations of the disease in time. The first four stages, which are available only in Ayurveda, in order to recognize and eliminate the disease before it will take the characteristic clinical symptoms.

1st stage of the disease according to Ayurveda the accumulation of pathogenesis (sanca)This stage of the disease is called weak digestive power and imbalance of the doshas. At this stage of the disease toxins (AMA) caused by the improper digestion that accumulates in the digestive tract. Toxins that appear due to an imbalance of Kapha accumulates in the stomach, caused by imbalance of Pitta in the small intestine, and caused by improper functioning wool in the colon. Due to the presence of one of these toxins may appear weak and insufficiently defined symptoms. You need to recognize and eliminate the cause, not to ignore or suppress it.

Stage 2 of the disease according to Ayurveda: deterioration (prakopa)Accumulated as a result of the 1st stage of the disease, stagnant doshas are now "annoyed" by such factors as ahara (food), Vihara (relaxation) and seasonal changes. Toxins accumulate in such numbers that they cause irritation directly to the site of their accumulation in the digestive tract.

3rd stage of disease according to Ayurveda: distribution (prasara)On the 3rd stage of the disease is excessively accumulated in the digestive tract of toxins begin to spread through the body. Usually up to this stage of biomolecule damage is completely reversible, and the proper measures can be achieved by restoring the balance of the doshas. Can also occur of Pratama spontaneous (remission, weakening disease), due to seasonal changes.

4th stage of disease according to Ayurveda: increase (sthana samshaya)the Distribution of the excessively accumulated toxins, their localized occurrence in weak or abnormal tissue (dhatu) and the accumulation of toxins in these areas leads to improper functioning of the tissues and structural damage. Now there is a particular disease with deterioration of organs and tissues and vulnerability to serious infections.

5th stage of disease according to Ayurveda: a symptomatic manifestations (vyakti)Characteristic symptoms of the disease first appear in the affected areas. Manifested symptoms of the disease are used in traditional medicine for the classification and diagnosis of the disease.

The 6th stage of disease according to Ayurveda: a definite diagnosis and complications (bheda)the Disease that was accumulated during many years to reach this final stage, becomes chronic. 6-stage disease offers an in-depth understanding of a group of symptoms, thus making clear the nature of the disease. At this stage the disease may act as a predisposing factor for the spread of other diseases.

Causes of diseases according to AyurvedaClassical Ayurveda never considered the causes and mechanisms of disease development only in terms of external factors. Modern Western medicine has created a system of suppression of symptoms of various types of disease with medicines. However, all these methods do not solve the subtle psychological causes of disease and lead to the chronicity of the process, because contribute to the fact that the disease goes away inside. At the same time, most of the chronic diseases considered to be diseases – atherosclerosis, cancer, diabetes, asthma, stomach ulcers, multiple sclerosis, systemic dermatitis or polyarthritis have psychological causes and sometimes develop over 10 or even 20 years. Ayurveda considers 5 main reasons for the development of chronic diseases.

The karmic cause of disease in Ayurveda isthe Karmic cause of disease in Ayurveda is related to the program of the individual (prarabdha-karma). Pride, greed, fear, hatred, condemnation, envy, lust or lies is a psychological pitfalls involved in a particular impasse. To cure such illnesses through medicines is impossible. Need a deep psychoanalysis, various kinds of meditation etc. in Modern Western medicine does not consider the karmic cause of the disease, so no one chronic disease cannot be completely cured. However, experience of Ayurveda, Tibetan and Chinese traditional medicine shows the opposite.

Birth cause of disease according to AyurvedaGeneric cause of the disease is related not only to genetic diseases (there are about 2500), but mostly from the collective (familial) karma. The child inherits as the good quality and abilities of their parents, and their vices. The energy-informational matrix of the father and mother – their interior world – a single. The baby is in this world, and therefore begins to absorb all good and all bad. We may dislike some traits of the father or mother. Because of this, we can proceed to interfere with them or attempt to change them. But once the parents leave this world, we surprisingly notice that they are negative stereotypes to fully begin to manifest within ourselves, and in this period there is the greatest danger of disease development. Therefore, each person should work not only with their individual problems, but also solve the problems of his family. By the way, the first and second cause of disease do not disappear after our death – these are reasons we move on into the next life. With regard to the generic causes of the disease, if we do not overcome them, they will be transmitted to our descendants.

Environmental cause of disease according to Ayurvedathe cause of Environmental diseases is associated with external negative influences, which include: wrong diet, inappropriate to the Constitution of human life, damaging the physical and chemical factors – high frequency radiation, hypothermia, radiation, toxic emissions, preservatives, dyes, synthetic fertilizers, pharmaceutical drugs, drugs, alcohol, poisons. Negative environmental effects include biological (infections) and hormonal factors. Modern medicine considers that the causes of chronic diseases are only environmental factors. However, according to Ayurveda, although not completely eliminate this cause should not, influence on an organism of various pathogenic factors of external environment in the absence of internal reasons in most cases not lead to a serious chronic diseases.

Metabolic cause of disease according to AyurvedaVarious factors can damage every cell of the organism at any stage of development of the organism. The probability of damage increases with time. According to Ayurveda, at the moment of conception we receive from parents a certain amount of irreplaceable energy of Ojas, which is considered our "biological clock". As it occurs using the aging process, and increases the probability of occurrence of various chronic diseases. Most likely, the Ojas relates to DNA molecules, with each cell division loses some of its telomeres, which contain information about how to operate one or the other cell mechanisms of self-regulation, detoxification, metabolism and reproduction. So over time the cell is more and more loses information about its functionality, which leads on the one hand to increased damage, and on the other hand, to the accumulation of products of incomplete metabolism, the so-called cellular toxins.

Ontogenetic cause of diseases by AyurvedaAccording to Ayurveda the functioning of the organism depends on the stability of the system of the doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These doshas are an integral function of the neuroendocrine system. Vata relates to the function of the nervous system, Pitta is the catabolic function of the level of the hormonal system and enzymes, causing breakdown of tissue and energy reserves of the body and Kapha is the anabolic functions of the level of the hormonal system and biologically active substances, ensuring the stability and protection of tissue. The three doshas are actually administering the principles of homeostasis (the constancy of the internal environment of the body). Various methods of Ayurveda, a system of nutrition, lifestyle, yoga exercises, as well as a special meditation intended to keep balance of three doshas (Prakriti). Otherwise will inevitably occur various diseases and rapidly aging.

The nature of the disease according to AyurvedaFrom the point of view of Ayurveda, all diseases are classified into 5 types:

Illness-teachers according to AyurvedaThese diseases occur when the person "turns" from his evolutionary path in the so-called "dead end corridor", and are a kind of indicator of our imperfections and vices. These diseases stop us that we not went aside from their present program. In modern society, such diseases found around 60-70%.

Disease-friends according to AyurvedaIllness-friends lead to protect the body from more terrible pathologies. For example, systemic dermatitis (eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis) protecting people from such deadly diseases as bronchial asthma or even cirrhosis of the liver. In their treatment of modern medicine uses hormonal ointments that not only block the release of endotoxins through the skin, but also gradually induce corticosteroid insufficiency. It is also known that some people suffering from bronchial asthma, after suffering tuberculosis fully get rid of their original disease. Currently in some Western countries developed special TB vaccines that will be used in the complex treatment of bronchial asthma. Since ancient times it is known that if a person suffering from epilepsy will develop varicose veins, the manifestation of seizures can completely disappear or weaken. Disease-friends, if they occur, require proper evaluation by the doctor, and their treatment should be quite different than in ordinary cases. Such disease is found in about 3-5% of cases.

Disease assistants AyurvedaNumerous viruses and other types of infections, as well as some physical factors (geomagnetic storms, geopathic influences) have on our body tonic and adaptogenic effects. The body as it goes through a certain training to overcome a serious illness. Diseases assistants usually clear up without treatment and do not cause disturbance. Occur in 3-5% of cases.

Disease-conductors according to AyurvedaDisease-conductors occur in a person for several years before his death, and from the point of view of Ayurveda are considered incurable. Modern research suggests that the cause of our death is encoded in the period of fetal development at the level of DNA molecules. Disease-conductors associated with the stop of large and small biological clock, i.e. the so-called depletion of Ojas. These diseases come, to ensure our departure from this world, because no one just dies from old age. Such diseases now occur in 10-15% of cases.

Disease-enemies according to AyurvedaArise solely from external causes, such as exposure to ionizing radiation, ingestion of potent toxic substances (e.g. alcohol or drugs), ingestion of carcinogens, air, water, food or severe hypothermia. Such diseases occur in 5-10% of cases.published
