Soon she turned yoga classes into a profitable business and opened her own school. Over time, the future princess realized that it was time to look for a job more serious than participating in shows and photo shoots. In 2005, Sofia began studying accounting.





In 2009, Sofia began to actively engage in charity and social activities. Then she went to Ghana, where she helped build an orphanage. A year later there was a meeting that changed her life.

In one of the nightclubs in Stockholm, the girl met Karl Philip, the Swedish prince, the third in line to the throne. After that, she began a new life. Together with Karl Philip, Sophia appeared at various business meetings and dinners.





Relatives of the prince, of course, were not happy with the choice of Charles Philip and tried to dissuade him from this alliance. However, the prince said he would give up all privileges and titles if he was banned from marrying a girl. Then, apparently, the heart of the parents melted, and in 2014 the couple officially announced their engagement.

Carl Philip and Sofia Hellquist were married on December 13, 2015. From that day on, the former model, waitress and yoga instructor became Duchess of Vermland and Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia.





In October of the same year, it became known that the couple are expecting their first child. On April 19, 2016, a boy named Alexander Hubertus Bertil was born.

On August 31, 2017, the august family was replenished with a second heir - Gabriel Karl Walter. You can see that the couple is happy, in the general pictures they smile and look madly in love.
