For which the son apologizes to his mother, kneeling

What kind of low deed can a wife not be forgiven? What can make a loving husband and father destroy a family? You don't think there's anything you can't forgive if you really love someone? The story of Vladimir from Ufa shows that not everything is so simple in this life and sometimes we have to make very painful choices.

Marina and I thought for a long time that it was time to change our lives. Daughters grow rapidly, and opportunities to provide everything girls need every year became less and less. Six months ago, we took a serious step.

I went to the Czech Republic to work. And in order to ensure a normal life for the family in my absence and to issue all the documents for traveling abroad, I had to sell my mother’s apartment. My mother supported me immediately. She liked the prospect of living with her granddaughters, so it took a long time to persuade her to accept such a global change. For which I was immensely grateful.

I was also pleased with how my wife handled the plan. My mother promised to take care of my mother as her own. So I left with a calm soul and in full confidence that from now on life would finally get better.

But on my return, all my hopes for a happy future together were shattered.

Crossing the border on the way back, I only thought about how my beloved women are doing there. What are they doing now? What are they thinking? Did they miss me as much as I missed them? Which girl will be the first to hug a folder?

Stepping on the doorstep of my home, I was very surprised at how quietly my family met me. The daughters blamed their eyes, and Marina, with an unexpected belligerence in her voice, first of all asked: “Why didn’t you warn me that you were coming today?” My mother was nowhere to be seen...

At first I thought my mom was out for a walk or decided to meet a friend. And because he was too tired from the road, he didn’t ask any questions, but just went to bed. But when I discovered in the morning that my mother was still gone, I began to worry and ask my wife what was the matter.

Marina evaded the answer for a long time. And then she looked at me with the same bellicose gaze that she had seen, and she said that my mother didn't belong here.

It turned out that my wife was just tired of getting along with my mother. So she sent her to a nursing home. This news shocked me. I could not even imagine that my beloved could go so low!

The same day, I took my mother home and told my wife that I wanted a divorce. I didn’t want this to hurt my daughters, but I couldn’t do otherwise. I couldn't bear the thought of going on with a woman who allowed herself to do this to my mother.

Do you think our hero made the right decision? Or, perhaps, Vladimir was overheated and could everything be solved differently? What advice would you give our storyteller?
