Cookies "Flowers" so that the whole family is fed from the heart

Very soon, thousands of tulips will bloom on the flower beds of our cities. But for those who are tired of waiting for a real spring, we suggest preparing sweet tulips from flour, eggs and sour cream. Cookie-flower with filling from dried apricots is festive, and most importantly delicious and original.

Flower cookie ingredients
  • 300g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 120g sour cream
  • 50g sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 1 yolk
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric


Preparation
  1. Mix in a bowl sifted flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, turmeric for color.


  2. Add the cube-cut butter and grind the flour and butter to a crumbly crumb state.
  3. Put egg yolk and sour cream in the mixture.


  4. Mix the dough and put it in the fridge for an hour.


  5. Roll the dough into a bar and form from it 14-15 balls of the same size.


  6. Cover the finished balls with film and put them in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  7. Roll each ball in a circle with a diameter of 10 centimeters.
  8. Make an incision to the middle of the circle.


  9. Put a spoonful of thick filling: halva, poppy, nuts with apricots.
  10. Wrap the stuffing in dough, pinch the edges and roll the circle into a cone resembling a tulip bud.

  11. Before baking, place the finished "tulips" for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  12. Bake cookies in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, 15-20 minutes.


  13. Put powdered sugar on the finished pastry.
