Why Sharon Stone was unlucky with the most important things in life and how she handled it
Every woman will say, “I want to be happy.” But what to do if the marriage is bursting at the seams, unforgiving years take their toll and health problems are already visible on the way?
GettyImages The answer knows Sharon Stone. According to the star of “Basic Instinct”, she was not lucky with marriage for a long time. In 2001, she suffered a severe stroke, after which she learned to speak again. Three years later, she divorced her last husband, losing custody of her adopted son, Roen Joseph Bronstein.

Today, the sex symbol of the nineties (how time runs!) is 62 years old. After the trials that fell to her share, Sharon reconsidered her view of many things and continues to please fans with unexpected and wise statements that both surprise and make you think.

“After such a shake-up, I have become much stronger and can be obscenely direct with people. But now it’s definitely not my problem – it’s time to reckon with the new Sharon Stone.
At 58, I realized that beauty comes from within. To be beautiful, you have to do what you want to do and do it every day. I like to dance and dance to exhaustion.”
The idea of eternal youth is a myth. I don’t want to be an ageless beauty. I want to be the woman who looks the best in her years.”

It’s funny to hear that in Hollywood people aren’t allowed to grow old. I sneeze at what I can and can't do in Hollywood. I prefer not to talk nonsense or hide my age. No, I don't give a number on my passport instead of greeting people - I'm just not shy about it. I also believe that in the film, the protagonist can fall in love with me, a grown woman, not a 25-year-old girl. Why not?
Sharon has never suffered from a lack of male attention. And to this day continues to regularly get into the lenses of paparazzi with young boyfriends.
GettyImages: Every time I walk into a coffee shop, 20-year-olds roll up to me. I think they realize that having sex with an older woman is something. Of course, there are men who, after I turned 50, began to look at me differently. But, you know, that kind of attitude saves time. Now I don't spend it on people who want to be with me just because I'm young and hot.
GettyImages I'm looking for a real relationship that's a rarity. I don’t even want to go on dates anymore; my life is full of events. And to make efforts for the sake of sex with a stranger is not particularly desirable. Much more satisfaction – both physical and spiritual – I began to receive from communication, a smile of a person, a look. You know, the kind of look that an interested man looks at you like he's the only one who really sees you.
At the age of 40, the actress reacted very painfully to age-related changes. “I would go into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, lock the door and tell myself I wouldn’t come out until I could fully embrace my body.” I started to cry when I saw my aging face and body in the mirror.

“But you’re not powerless, you can slow it down significantly if you discipline yourself and train a lot,” Sharon said. And her words don't go against the case. Maintain the form of the actress helps regular Pilates, strength training and yoga.
She also adheres to a diet and completely gave up any alcohol. “I want to feel real emotions, not degree-imposed feelings. And now I'm a true tea adept. I think I could open a whole pharmacy of useful teas and herbs, says the actress.
Not so long ago, Sharon shared in her Instagram photo, where she poses by the pool in an outdoor swimsuit, demonstrating a pumped abs.

In an interview with The Telegraph, she admitted that she does not consider it acceptable when other people tell women how to look at their age: “I do not allow other people to tell me what is wrong with my face and body, and where I got cellulite.”
“None of us can always be a beautiful girl, and we really need to start understanding that being an adult and a smart woman is cool.” If your partner doesn’t understand this, then he’s stupid and you shouldn’t spend time with him.
Happiness: I'm having the happiest time of my life right now. I live in my home where I moved 25 years ago with my kids. They're at a beautiful age now where they don't need a nanny anymore. I can wake up on Saturday morning, go downstairs, play with my sons, swim with them, play basketball or just watch movies.
