Why You Shouldn't Spare Oil When You Fry Carp

Fish in soy sauce Ingredients
  • 1 carp
  • 250g tofu cheese
  • 100g leek
  • 40g red chili pepper
  • 40g green chili pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 100g ginger
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • salt
  • vegetable-oil


Preparation
  1. Eviscerate the carp, cut off the fins and head. Cut the fish into pieces about 5 centimeters.


  2. Slice the onions, ginger and garlic fine.
  3. Place pieces of fish, some ginger and a spoonful of salt in the bowl. Stir everything and leave it for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut small pieces of red and green chili peppers.


  5. Mix tomato and soy sauce.
  6. Cube the tofu cheese.


  7. Remove ginger from the fish bowl, fill it with a whipped egg and mix well.


  8. Add the starch and stir again.
  9. Roast the tofu to a golden crust in vegetable oil. Put the cheese on the plate.


  10. Roast the fish in the same oil over a high heat for about 3 minutes. Put it on a paper towel.


  11. Roast the onions, ginger residue and garlic until soft.
  12. Add roasted fish and tofu to the onions and ginger.
  13. Pour all the sauce, add some water (or beer) and mascara for ten minutes.
  14. Sprinkle the dish with chili pepper and coriander. After that, continue cooking carp for another 2-3 minutes.
