Hanuma withstood over 300 performances and was recorded for television in 1978. The recognizable music for the performance was composed by the People’s Artist of the Georgian SSR Gia Kancheli, and the scenography in the spirit of Pirosmani was created by the talented artist Joseph Sumbatashvili. When the soul is inclement, I watch Hanuma again and the longing will surely go away.
