Eat this, and you'll look 5 years older

In the early 1990 s soy and soy products broke into the stores with promises of great health benefits. This "new miracle food," soy, was supposed to lower cholesterol, get rid of hot flashes, protect against breast cancer and prostate cancer and offer a great alternative for vegetarians.

What's the problem with these statements? That the majority of them are false. Unfortunately, most of what we were forced to believe the media about soy is simply untrue.

The sudden burst of recommendations soy as a health food was no more than a clever marketing gimmickto further reduce the cost and nutrient content of food.

Vegetarians who arrive now in a state of shock and surprise, not to be afraid. There are plenty of other healthy vegetarian food, which I'll discuss later in this article.

What was once considered a rare industrial culture (we are talking about soy), currently covers more than 72 million hectares of agricultural land. But first, let's examine the dangers and side effects of soy protein isolate and GMO foods.

Soy protein isolate — what is it, and how it gets in my food?

The Soyfoods Association of America in its Bulletin gives the following definition of the term "soy protein":

"Soy protein isolate is a dry powder food ingredient that has been separated or isolated from the other components of the soybean, making it 90 to 95 percent protein, almost no carbs and no fats&eaquo;.

Soy protein can be found in protein bars, shakes, fruit drinks in bottles, soups and sauces, meat analogs, baked goods Breakfast cereals and some dietary supplements.

Bodybuilders beware: because many powders for weight loss bars and shakes contain this dangerous ingredient, it can cause unpleasant side effects such as decreased libido and erectile dysfunction — and this is only the beginning. You will learn more about these health effects in this article.

Even if you are a vegetarian and do not eat soy milk and tofu, it is important to read the labels on the products. There are so many different names for soy additives, you can bring home a genetically modified soy product, without even realizing it. Dr. Daniel offers to your attention a free special report, "which contains soy?" on its Web site. It lists many names under which may be hiding soy products — words like "bouillon", "natural flavor" and "textured vegetable protein".

Here are a few other names by which usually hides soy:

  • Mono–diglyceride ( mono–diglyceride);

  • Soya, Soja or Yuba (Soy or Yuba);

  • TSF (textured soy flour) or TSP (textured soy protein);

  • TVP (textured vegetable protein);

  • Lecithin;

  • MSG (monosodium glutamate).

Not all textured vegetable proteins produced from soy, but many of them.

Lecithin can be made from soy, eggs, sunflower or corn. Please contact the manufacturer to find out what the origin of your product, unless the label discloses this information.

GMO — making soy more dangerous.

One of the main problems with soy comes from the fact that 90 to 95 percent of soybeans grown in the US genetically modified (GM) and used to create soy protein.

Why is this happening?

Genetically modified soybeans designed for "Rounup-Ready" — resistant to the herbicide roundup. And it is true, they are chemically engineered to withstand heavy doses of herbicides without killing the plant! What this means for your health and the health of your future and your future children? Read on.

GM Soy can lead to hormonal disorders and miscarriages.

The active ingredient in roundup Ready–herbicide is called glyphosate which is responsible for the hormonal balance of the female reproductive cycle. "It's a endocrine disruptor," says the British pathologist Stanley Ewen, "he interferes with aromatase, which produces estrogen."

Moreover, glyphosate is toxic to the placenta, which is responsible for delivering vital nutrients from mother to child and eliminating waste. If the placenta is damaged or destroyed, the result may be a miscarriage. In children whose mothers were exposed to even small amounts of glyphosate can detect serious birth defects.

In his article on the side effects of glifosato, Dr. andrés Carrasco of the Embryology laboratory of the Medical faculty in Buenos Aires explains all the serious risks for unborn children exposed in the womb the effects of GMO soy products.

Amphibian embryos were exposed to a tiny concentration of glyphosate (1:5000), which showed the following results:

  • reducing the size of the head;

  • genetic changes in the Central nervous system;

  • the increase in the death of cells that help form the skull;

  • the deformation of the cartilage;

  • vision defects

  • undeveloped kidneys.

Carrasco also noted that glyphosate is not destroyed in the cage, and accumulate. The results demonstrate that abnormally high levels of cancer, birth defects, newborn mortality, lupus, kidney disease, skin and respiratory tract, the population living near the fields of soy beans in Argentina, may be associated with aerial spraying of herbicides.

The long-term consequences for human consumption of genetically modified soybeans and products based on it are shocking.

In April 2010, Russian researchers at the Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian Academy of Sciences and National Association of Security found that after consuming GM soy for two years in hamsters, for three generations, third generation, most individuals have lost the ability to have offspring! Now let us carefully examine some risks to Your health from eating genetically modified soy.

Infertility in Women

You want to start a family? Have you had any trouble conceiving perhaps due to irregular menstrual cycles or endometriosis? Have You ever had a miscarriage?

If so, what You're about to read will shock You.

A Brazilian study published in 2009, examined the impact of soy on the reproductive system of female rats. Female rats fed GM soy for 15 months, which led to significant changes in the uterus and reproductive cycle, compared to rats who did not receive soy at all, or used the organic soy.

Extrapolating the results of studies on humans, it turns out that women who consume genetically modified soy products such as soy protein in vegetarian cuisine, are more likely to experience severe hormonal disruptions, including an overabundance of estrogen, stimulating the growth of hair and damage to the pituitary gland.

According to Dr. Stanley Ewen, the female rats fed GM soy probably had an increase in progesterone, which can lead to an increase in the number of eggs produced during each ovulation cycle.

You might think that this will lead to an increase in the birth rate. However, as noted in the article, Jeffrey Smith, women who consume genetically modified soy products have an increased risk of developing retrograde menstruation (the menstrual cycle does not produce precipitates out, leaving them in), causing endometriosis, which can lead to infertility.

The use of soy protein isolate and other soy products can also result in excessively painful and heavy menses. This is called menorrhagia and, ironically, appear commercials with medicine that can supposedly "cure" the "secret syndrome". When in fact, the real cure is the exception of soy and soy products from the diet. The negative effects of soy affect not only women but also men.

Loss of libido and erectile dysfunction in men

Guys, do you like protein bars and shakes? If so, don't forget to read the label to see whether the products that you use, any components of soybean. Did you know that celibate monks living in monasteries and leading a vegetarian lifestyle, I think soy products are very effective to reduce libido?

Another drawback: soy is also associated with erectile dysfunction. The two natural drugs found in soy, genistein and daidzein, mimic estrogen is exactly what causes a number of undesired side effects in men:

  • Breast enlargement (gynecomastia);

  • Reduction of hair growth on the face and body;

  • Decreased libido;

  • Frequent mood swings and disruptions to the Creek;

  • Erectile dysfunction;

  • The decrease in the number of sperm.

For example, one recent study showed the occurrence of gynecomastia in 60-year-old men from eating soy. Another study showed that juvenile rats exposed to daidzein, having erectile dysfunction.

Men, if you notice any of these symptoms, the culprit may be soy. Remove it from your diet, but be sure to consult your doctor if symptoms persist or your condition worsens, as this may be a symptom of another severe disease.

Healthy aspects of soy: Fermented vs. unfermented

To support the statement that soy is healthy food, privately funded "researchers" did not fail to mention that Asians who eat food with a high content of soy are at reduced risk of breast cancer, uterine and prostate cancer. Unfortunately, they did not consider two very important points:

  • Asians, especially the Japanese, with less risk of the above-mentioned cancers, have a much higher risk of developing cancer of the esophagus, thyroid, stomach, pancreas and liver!

  • Asians consume food rich in fermented soy, which is the only form of soy that are beneficial to health.

The reason that Asians are susceptible to the same cancers, while others do not is unfermented soy. Marketers for promotion of soy products left that very important information. Would you like to have one kind of cancer instead of the other?

You may be asking yourself, what is the difference between the consumption of fermented soy, such as, for example, pace, compared with tofu or vegetarian Burger. I'm here to tell you that the difference is obvious as night and day.

Unfermented and fermented soy products contain hormonal mimics in the form of isoflavones (isoflavones), which can not only disrupt the delicate system of hormones in your body, but also to act as goitrogens (goitrogens), substances that suppress thyroid function. When thyroid function is suppressed, there is a lot of health problems such as:

  • Anxiety and mood swings;

  • Insomnia;

  • The complexity of weight loss;

  • Difficulty conceiving children;

  • Problems with digestion;

  • Food allergies and more.

No wonder soy can lead to thyroid cancer, esophagus and stomach. Unfermented soy is also full of phytic acid, the "anti-nutritive substance", which promotes the excretion of vital nutrients from your body. Phytic acid also blocks the intake of necessary minerals such as calcium, magnesium, honey, iron and especially zinc.

Therefore, fermented soybean products is still healthy. Here are some examples of healthy fermented soy products:

  • Tempeh, fermented soybean cake with a firm texture and taste of mushrooms and nuts;

  • Miso, fermented soybean paste, salty, buttery (commonly used in miso soup);

  • Natto, fermented soybeans with a sticky texture and a strong flavour of the cheese;

  • The soy sauce that is traditionally made by fermenting soybeans, salt and enzymes. Be careful because many varieties are made artificially using a chemical process;

  • Fans of tofu, I have to say that it is not included in this list because tofu is unfermented soy product.

So, what are the health benefits of fermented soy?

The claim that soy products can prevent osteoporosis, reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, protect against dementia, prostate cancer, lung and liver, is really loyal, but only if the soy is fermented.

How?

The fermentation process of soy destroys the dangerous substances mentioned above, which makes it suitable for consumption. In addition, fermented soy products, such as listed above, are a rich source of vitamin K2, the vitamin that works in harmony with vitamin D to keep you in shape. Vitamin K regulates blood clotting, helps prevent cancer, osteoporosis and heart disease. And vitamin D is important for the functioning of every system in your body.

A warning to vegetarians about the risk of mineral deficiencies.

Phytic acid or phytates derive nutrients from your body, and if you are a vegetarian, and meat in your diet is the product from unfermented soy, for example, a vegetarian Burger, which contains protein, GMO soy, your body undergoes deficiencies of minerals.

In addition to this, many veggie burgers are made with the use of harmful artificial flavorings such as monosodium glutamate, and textured vegetable protein, which gives them a flavor of the "meat".

But the most frightening is the process that is subjected soybeans to become soy protein isolate. Acid washing in aluminum tanks which is designed to remove some anti-nutritional substances, leaves particles of aluminium in the final product. Aluminum can have adverse effects on brain development and cause symptoms such as:

  • Antisocial behavior;

  • Inability to learning;

  • Alzheimer's Disease.

As I mentioned in a previous article about soy, processed vegetarian food not nutritious. Vegetarians have plenty of options for good nutrition without having to eat soy or soy products.

Beans are inexpensive, rich in protein food, which can be as a separate dish, and the additive in salads or as a garnish. Be sure to buy dried beans and cook them at home to avoid adverse health consequences from eating canned food. Ideally, it is best to soak beans at least 12 hours before cooking them.

Nuts are also a great source of protein. For optimal health benefits, eat organic nuts such as almonds or walnuts, and not overly processed mixed nuts.

Quinoa does not contain gluten, and can be enjoyed as a cereal, a side dish or added to vegetable stews as a thickener.

Flax seed, rich in essential omega–3 fats, is an excellent source of protein. Add it to salads or yogurt to fill your food's vital nutrients. However, it is important to grind flax seeds before eating, as the crushed seeds in advance will have a rancid taste. Hemp seeds are also a great source of protein.

Lactose intolerance

If you are lactose intolerant and substitute regular milk, soy, you have other options: almond milk, and now hemp milk. Almond milk has all the nutritional properties of soy milk, but differs from it in a more rich and pleasant aroma. The hemp milk has a creamy taste, more rich in protein and easy to make your own, whisking in a blender in a certain proportion of cannabis seeds with water.

Infants control over baby food.

As indicated in several previous articles soy is one of the most dangerous foods you can feed your baby!

"In 1998, researchers reported that infant formula isoflavones 6 to 11 times more than products that use adult. Concentrations of isoflavones in the bloodstream in children who were fed soy mixtures was between 13,000 to 22,000 times higher than plasma estradiol concentrations in children who were fed formula based on cow's milk".

What does it mean? Feeding baby mixtures based on soy can cause a lot of health problems, including:

  • Behavior problems;

  • Food Allergy and digestive problems;

  • Early puberty and fertility problems (including absence of menstruation);

  • Asthma;

  • Precocious puberty for girls and gynecomastia (breast enlargement) in boys;

  • Thyroid disease;

  • Cancer

In conclusion, on the baby food will say that infants who were exclusively breast fed from birth to six months — are less prone to respiratory problems and middle ear infections, eczema, obesity. Breast milk also gives babies extra protection from heart disease, diabetes, asthma, allergies, improves brain function and the immune system.

The soy mixture is filled with toxic chemicals such as aluminium and manganese, which can cause problems in mental and physical health, learning difficulties, brain damage and behavioral problems. If for some reason you can't breastfeed or have adopted a child, look at these recipes for homemade infant formula.

School lunch — baby food in the past.

According to the new standards of the U.S. government, the soy products are now used as the replacement of a number of nutritious foods in school canteens. Because of the reduced fat content in soybeans it is advertised as an alternative to meat and hot dishes. But this statement is very far from the truth.

Soy added to your child's diet depletes the necessary nutrients required for healthy growth and successful education. I urge you to watch this video to learn more about food sold in school canteens. Better to send the child to school, giving him her lunch homemade healthy food.

The elderly — aging is faster.

According to a study conducted by Dr. LON white of the Hawaii center for research in health care, pensioners who ate a lot of tofu in adulthood observed accelerated brain aging and a more pronounced loss of cognitive function.

"Moreover," says Dr. white, "by those who ate tofu at the age of 75-80 years, looked five years older."

If you want to save your "Golden years" and avoid the use of soy protein, you read the labels on the products. Drinks–meal replacements, such as Ensure, complete soy protein, and it is better to avoid their consumption. As you may have noticed unfermented soy is not healthy food. Try to remove from your family's diet soy products and see the results for yourself. Remember, an educated consumer is an armed consumer. And while there is a demand for these dangerous products, large companies will produce them. Spend your money only on healthy food!

Continues to fight for labeling of GMO foods.

The fight for labeling of GMO foods is far from over. The battlefield moved to Washington and "people's Initiative" No. 522 requires that GMO foods sold in stores are subject to mandatory labeling.

As stated on the website LabelitWA.org:

"Until 1990, the labels didn't have information about the number of calories and nutritional value of the product. But since 1990, it has become necessary, and now most consumers use this information every day. The indication of the country of the manufacturer was not required until 2002. Indicate the contents of TRANS fats were not subject to mandatory labeling until 2006. Now all of these labelling requirements is important for the consumer. Management under the control over products and medicines (FDA) claims that we need to know through labeling if the orange juice is from fresh oranges or frozen concentrate.

Not does it that genetically modified foods containing harmful substances, experimental viruses, bacteria, genes of plants or animals should also be marked? Genetically modified foods must be tested for safety before releasing them for sale. Studies that have been conducted raise serious questions about the impact of GMO products on human health and the environment.

About quackery, drinking soda, and evidence-based medicine

Why Zelenka is not used anywhere in the world, except CIS?

"People's initiative" No. 522 requires transparency of information on products for the population. The new initiative will not raise costs to consumers or food producers. The point of it is to add more information on the product labels, because the labels in any case are constantly supplemented and adjusted".published
