This drink is an incredible combination of sweet potato, almond milk and orange. The drink has a light sweet creamy taste that will please even your kids.

Sweet potatoes, like other orange vegetables contain beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin a in our body. Vitamin a is essential for hair, skin, nails, vision, and plays a key role in the functioning of the immune system.

Colourful smoothies sweet potato and orange

Ingredients (for 1 serving):

  • 1 Cup almond milk
  • 1 medium sweet potato, baked
  • 1 medium orange, peeled
  • 1 date (or more to taste), pitted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • ground cinnamon
  • Honey




 

Preparation:

In a blender, place almond milk, sweet potatoes, oranges, dates, vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon, whisk until smooth. Try, if you want to make a cocktail sweeter, add honey or more dates.

Before serving, add 1/2 Cup of crushed ice as desired.
