Psychosomatics diseases of the neck, Through the throat we "swallow" the reality

To understand the relation of body and mind, we must, first, understand that body and mind are one entity. Usually we look at our own body as something that we carry with us (often not quite what we would like).

That "something" is easily damaged, needs training, regular food and water, a certain amount of sleep and periodic inspections. When there are problems, it gives us trouble, and we take your body to the doctor, believing he or she is able to "fix" it faster and better. Something is broken — and we are that "something" still fix, if it's an inanimate object, devoid of reason. If the body is functioning well, we feel happy, cheerful and energetic. If not, become irritable, frustrated, depressed, perepolnyali pity for themselves.

The neck is a bridge "with two-way traffic" between the body and the mind

At the neck of the abstract, we come into physical birth; therefore, here we let the breath and food that sustain us and provide for physical existence. The neck is a bridge "with two-way traffic" between the body and the mind, which enables the abstract to be translated into form, and form — to Express yourself. Through neck thoughts, ideas and concepts can go into effect; at the same time here, can release inner feelings, especially coming from the heart. The intersection of the "bridge" at the level of the neck requires the involvement and full participation in life; lack of involvement can lead to severe separation of body and soul.

Through the throat we "swallow" a reality. Therefore, difficulties in this area may be associated with resistance or unwillingness to accept this reality and turn yourself in. Food is what sustains us and saves our lives; it is a symbol of power in our world that often is used to replace the corresponding manifestations. Not often do we said in childhood: "Eat your words" — and thus swallow their own feelings? Serge king wrote in his book "Imagine health" (Serge King "Imagineering for Health"):

We tend to associate food with ideas, as manifested in such expressions as "food for thought", "you think it's possible to digest?", "serve with sauce", "this unappetizing idea" or "tagged him with false ideas".Therefore, the suppression of reactions to unacceptable ideas in the throat, the tonsils and the adjoining organs may appear swelling and pain.

A similar reaction can develop in response to the feelings of others or situations that we offer a "swallow", while we find them inedible.

Because the throat is a "bridge affair", and the problems in this area can equally reflect both the resistance necessary to "swallow" the unacceptable reality and the inability to release emotions, be it love, passion, pain or anger. If we believe that the expression of these emotions for any reason is unacceptable, or fear the consequences of their expression, we block them, and this leads to accumulation of energy in the throat. This "swallowing" of one's own feelings can cause tension in the neck and situated the tonsils. Easy connection between the neck and fifth chakra as the center of divine communications.

The neck is also a tool allowing us to look around, that is, to see all aspects of our world. When the neck becomes stiff and rigid, this limits its mobility, which in turn limits the horizons. This indicates that our views become narrow, which becomes narrow and our thinking that we recognize only their own point of view, see only what is directly in front of us. It also underscores the self-absorbed stubbornness or rigidity. This tightness restricts the flow of feelings, and communication between the mind and the body. Blockage or tightness in the neck obviously separates us from the experience of the reactions and desires of our body, as well as from the influx of experience from the outside world.

As the neck refers to the conception, it also represents the feeling that we have a right to be here, a sense of belonging, the feeling of your own home. If this feeling is lost, destroyed whole sense of confidence and presence, the result of which may appear to spasm or narrowing of the throat.

In such cases it is very difficult to swallow, the energy ceases to flow to our physical being. This creates a "hippie syndrome" ("syndrome of evasion"), which is triggered by feelings of rejection and resentment. This can also have an impact on the functional status of the thyroid gland, as it relates to the mechanism of respiration, and therefore the flow of air that gives us life. published
