Chalet in French from Duchaufour-Lawrance
Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance — the famous French architect and designer. In his work on the interior of the Chalet Saint Martin de Belleville, he decided to abandon the traditional approach and chose to create a modern, free space that "breathes" frosty cold and clean snow of the Alps.
Outside the house has a more traditional and not distracting from the overall landscape. Stonework, natural wood, tiled roof. But the interior does not quite fit into the usual prevailing image of a "Chalet". Designer in interior decoration Noah is widely used wood, but it is not something "natural" or dark, which more habitually to see in the design of such interiors. In wooden finish is prevalent a light gray color. White furniture, which is present in abundance in the house, combined with light wood creates a feeling of freshness and crystal transparency. Minimalist decor kompensiruet rich geometry: curved lines ceilings, walls reminiscent of a smooth terrain of snow-capped mountains.
The Central room of the house — attic, with a huge fireplace, a massive, but not heavy beams and modern furniture. Very interestingly solved the interior of the bedroom. Finishing straight wood Board asymmetrically arranged light and soothing colors create a feeling of tranquility.
Surprisingly, the vision of Noah is a traditional Alpine Chalet harmoniously. The architect takes inspiration from the Alps themselves. It is felt in the selection of materials, geometry of the space in the finishing and decoration.
