Turkish Hamam

Hammam, or even its name – Hamam, it is not only useful heat. This kind of baths is perceived as a whole in the direction of Eastern culture. Turkish baths have long been built as works of art. Today, even visiting a modern Hammam, you will be amazed by the beauty of its decoration. The procedure of visiting the Turkish baths is not limited to the steam room and swimming pool. That would relax your body, and most importantly the soul of the Eastern people put in the baths for hours, talking, drinking infusions and teas, cleansing the body.


Classic Hamam consists of three rooms. The first — "jamacan" — serves as a dressing room. Then according to the rules of the East, the man leaves all the casual – clothes, shoes, things. The body is only a loincloth. The next room is called "pestemal". It takes the ablution. In Hamam, this procedure is performed using copper bowls, from which poured water and olive soap, which wash away dust and dirt from the skin. The third room of the Turkish bath called "hararet" and is a steam room, which is very different from the usual Slavic person. In the Hammam steam room is a room where floors and beds made of marble and heated to 40-60 degrees (low enough to a comfortable temperature).


On the marble rug is comfortable enough for a long time. It is involved in the process of peeling, foam and oil massages. After the steam should be slowly lowering the body temperature, dip first in cold water, then in cold and complete the procedure by dipping in ice. Turkish bath – this is primarily the relaxation of the body. So the most important effect that gives Hamam – calming the nervous system. After a visit to the sauna improves sleep are neuroses, migraine, anxiety. Also worth noting is the improvement of the General condition of the body, and boosting mood.
