It turned out, mosquitoes are showing sometimes the habits of rare gourmet: they do not rush to drink the blood of the first human or animal, and find a victim with suitable characteristics. A special study showed that the mosquito is the selection criterion. Oddly enough, it was the smell.
Experts were able to find out what substance, which secretes the surface of the skin make it invulnerable to bloodsuckers.
Together with the sweat from the human body shows different substances, each of which has its own smell. Mosquitoes like the smell of lactic acid, which is released from the surface of our skin. Apparently, the people whom mosquitos do not bite, ooze some smell that to hide such a delicious flavor. Probably, these odors all people possess, but in varying proportions.
