Dangerous things that a 3D printer can print
Machine parts, food, jewelry, human prostheses: The fact that they once required craftsmanship and a certain amount of resources and time is becoming secondary with the development of 3D printing. But while 3D printing breaks down barriers and revolutionizes manufacturing, we are quickly becoming aware of some of the technology’s dangerous drawbacks.
ATM skimmers
Skimmer – a device for intercepting information from the magnetic tape of plastic cards – is the official definition. Skimmers were invented around 2002-2003 in Europe (first in England). Talk about skimmers after Moscow in 2004 detained a group of people “who are engaged in illegal interception of information from plastic cards”, by the way, it was the first public case of detention in Europe, after that there was such a thing as “skimming”.

As you know, handcuffs are made of a rather durable material to deter even the most dangerous criminals. The bottom line is that police departments typically share a single key for all handcuffs to facilitate the transportation of prisoners throughout the region.
A German hacker decided to prove to the police and the world that there is a system of detaining criminals.

First, the original production keys of the German company Bonowi and the English company Chubb will be available only to federal agencies, but they are easily bought on E-Bay. Second, Ray wants to upload CAD key drawings to everyone online. Ray states that his motives are not to help criminals, but to educate the police, as this is a terrible problem.
