Pumps for giving: what are and why you need

“Without water, neither here nor here,” we all know. At the countryside, you can not do without it, and even if the water supply is centralized, you will most likely need a pump. Perhaps not one, but several, each of which has its own purpose. So let’s figure out what pumps are, and what they can be useful for us in the country.

Generalized pump-functionThere are two main ones: Provide water supply to the cottage. Remove dirty water: sewage and sewage. At the same time, there are many of their varieties: a well pump, a drainage pump, a watering pump, a fountain and others, each of which differs from the others in power, size, parameters and technical characteristics. Yes, and in the classification of pumps, it is quite difficult for an ignorant person to understand. But you can! All the variety of pumping equipment for a country plot can be generalized into three types:

Water pumps are designed to pump clean water – that is, water without impurities of leaves, twigs, sand, grass and frogs) They are equipped with a special filter system and are used for general water supply at home. Clean water pumped with a water pump, you can water the garden, and rinse under the summer shower, and use it for cooking.Drainage pumps for givingDrainage pumps are designed to pump water with impurities of small debris. With their help, you can pump water from a nearby reservoir: a pond, lake or stream - and use it for watering the garden and garden. In this regard, they can replace water pumps. But the main purpose of drainage pumps is still pumping wastewater, which is slightly contaminated. For example, with their help you can pump water from the pool, basement or cellar.Fecal pumps for giving.Fecal pumps are the most expensive of all types of country pumps. Their direct purpose is to pump out the contents of cesspools. The design of fecal pumps for pumping dirty water and waste is similar to the design of drainage, but the functionality is much higher.

Pump types. These three main types of pumps for giving, in turn, are divided into two types: surface and submersible.Surface pumps for giving.If you have a shallow well or a reservoir with clean water, then a surface water pump can be installed for the water supply of the site. On sale there are, among other things, lightweight versions of such hydraulic structures, which can be located on the open surface of the reservoir. To them (usually) is attached a special foam "float", on which the pump is fixed and located on water. Surface pump can be installed next to the reservoir, if in this position you will be more convenient to use it.

Keep in mind that the suction depth of conventional (relatively inexpensive) surface pumps is from 5 to 9 m, depending on the model and power. But if you buy a more expensive surface hydraulic structure with an ejector (from Latin. ejector - ejector), then the suction depth of it will be much greater - up to 40 meters.
Surface pumps come in different modifications, the main of which (the most necessary in the household) I list:
- vortexintended for pumping clean water; the essence of their work is vortex pumping water under high pressure;

- centrifugal (Single-stage and multi-stage), which also pump only clean water, but the essence of their work is somewhat different from that of vortexes. They are launched using the centrifugal force of one or more wheels and are considered more reliable than vortex (respectively, they are more expensive);

- self-sucking pumps are able to pump clean water with air;
- fluid-ring pumps are able to pump not only water with air, but also diesel fuel with fuel oil;
- portable self-suction, able to remove air from water; due to the specific design, very convenient and compact.
Submersible pumps can be used in sources of small and great depth. According to their purpose and objectives, they are:

- wells, used both in the mode of partial immersion in water and in the mode of full immersion. Almost all models of such pumps operate in automatic mode and are equipped with a float switch, which turns off the hydraulic structure when the water level drops below the critical;
- boreholeAs the name implies, they are designed to raise water from deep wells. They are able to pump water contaminated with mechanical impurities and earth;
- drainageAs already mentioned, they are used to pump slightly contaminated water from a shallow depth;
- fecal They are used for sewerage...
In order not to make a mistake when choosing a suitable pump model for giving, calculate the distance from the place where you plan to install the hydraulic structure to those places where water will flow through the hoses. Keep in mind that at 1 m depth of the reservoir there are 10 m of horizontal surface of the area along which the hoses from the pump pass.
Pumps for giving, like tireless workers, help thousands of people to establish a comfortable life.
