The US army is building robots with ethical qualities

We all remember the movie "Terminator 3: rise of the machines", where the Skynet system, with enormous artificial intelligence, starts to own the game. At first, she subjugates all the earth's computers, and then unleashes a world war, condemning humanity to destruction. To avoid this, the Pentagon is embarking on a Grand project to build a combat robots with elements of morality and ethics.
The work involved the best programmers, specialists in the field of robotics and philosophers from leading American universities. A project funded by Office of naval research and the defense advanced Agency research – the notorious DARPA. The purpose of the research is creating robots that are similar to a person will be able to analyze the situation from the point of view of morality and make the right decisions.

For example, a robot in a battle to decide what is more important to him to save the wounded or to engage in the transportation of ammunition. Or another situation. What to do, for example, if a robot soldier to be a child with openly hostile intentions and ready to kill.
