Belarusian family keeps packs of wolves as pets

A Belarusian family from the village of Zacherevye, 250 km south of Minsk, raised a flock of wild wolves and now keeps them as their pets. In 2009, the head of the family and local hunter Oleg Selekh found lonely little orphaned cubs in the forest.

5 years later, the little cubs turned into fully domestic wolves. Although wolves are known for their harsh temper and violent hierarchy in the pack, these guys behave like regular dogs. 11-year-old daughter of Oleg, Alina Selekh, treats and plays with wolves, as with domestic dogs, and those who thank for the caress, and strive to lick the girl in the face. Wolves even let the girl ride them!
