RECIPE RICE WITH CELERY ROOT AND SPINACH What you need:
- small celery root
- olive oil
- salt, pepper
- a few sprigs of thyme
- 200 g fresh spinach (you can take frozen, pre-thaw)
- 300 grams of basmati rice
1. Put a large pot on the fire, pour rice, pour 600 ml of boiling water, add salt and cover with lid. Cook 7-9 minutes.
2. Celery root peel and cut it into cubes with a thickness of about 1 cm.
3. A large ceramic pot is put on fire, pour 1 tbsp olive oil, put the celery, add salt, pepper and a few sprigs of thyme. Stir, increase the heat and add a little boiling water (water celery is cooked faster). Cook 5 minutes, then put the spinach and simmer for another few minutes. Remove from heat, add the rice and mix everything carefully.
