Light vegetable patties with spinach and herbs
A very simple recipe for vegetable patties with spinach and herbs with spicy tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- Water — 250 ml
- Corn flour (or another gluten-free) — 2.5 cups
- salt – pinch
- Tomatoes — 2 PCs.
- Spinach — 2 bunches
- The leaves and stems of beet, parsley, dill, green onions
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Salt, pepper — to taste
- 6 medium tomatoes
- Grated fresh ginger – 2 tbsp
- Basil – 2 tsp
- Pepper, salt – to taste
1. In a bowl combine water, flour and a pinch of salt and knead a dough. Put aside.
2. From tomatoes remove the seeds – you can use them for sauce. Finely chop.
3. Spinach and beet leaves roughly chopped, drop into boiling water for 2-3 minutes, remove and let the water drain out.
4. Mix the tomatoes, chopped herbs and onion, spinach and beet leaves, sesame seeds, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice.
5. Divide the dough into 10 parts, roll out thin circles (you can align the circles on the platter), put the stuffing and wrap the edges to the center.
6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
7. All the ingredients for the sauce mix in a blender until smooth.
8. Hot pies serve chilled sauce. published
