Scientists have created tiny robots that do not sink

Scientists from Harvard University, together with their colleagues from Seoul National University, have developed a robot that can not only walk on water, it can jump on its surface.

This robot is only 19 millimeters tall and weighs only 56.7 milligrams. When creating it, scientists took as an example insects that can jump on the surface of the water – water meters. The robot is surprisingly easy to build, and even more surprising is that it can operate with a force 16 times its own weight while it is on the surface of the water.

The researchers intend to continue working on these robots, and they believe that someday these mechanisms can be used for search operations and other purposes for the benefit of humans.

P.S. And remember, just by changing our consumption, we change the world together!
