Beets in the nuts: a simple and delicious recipe!

Bake the beets for borscht. Left a couple of small sokolac, flipped through the book. There was a very nice and simple recipe, which is applicable, however, not only to the beets.

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g of beet, baked or boiled
  • 1 egg
  • 8 tbsp rolled oats
  • oil for frying
  • salt as desired
For the sauce:

  • 30 g walnuts
  • 150 grams of yogurt
  • 1 tsp of walnut oil (or olive)
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
Egg lightly whisk, beets clean, cut into slices thick 1 cm Dip each beetroot into the egg and roll them in oat flakes. Add salt if you want, we're not salted. Fry prepared sliced beets in hot oil until Golden brown. Be sure to dry the finished pieces of beets on a paper towel to soak up excess fat.

To prepare the sauce of chopped walnuts, yogurt, butter, mixed the ingredients. Season with salt, add ground black pepper.



This beet is good both hot and cold.
If you don't like beets, replace it with other vegetables or root vegetables.
