Ladenia — Greek pie with onions and tomatoes

This aromatic and delicious Greek pie with tomatoes will satisfy adults and children!

Ingredients:

 

  • flour — 500 g

  • olive oil — 100 ml

  • sourdough

  • salt — 0.5 tsp.





For the filling:

 

  • ripe tomato — 3 PCs.

  • onions medium — 3 PCs.

  • capers — 1 tbsp

  • olive oil

  • oregano dried — 1 tsp

  • salt

  • black pepper freshly ground





Preparation:

 

1. Sift the flour into a bowl or on a work surface slide, make a well, add salt and oil. Pour the yeast and knead the dough to make it happen elastic, but soft. Knead 10 min.

2. To form a ball, coat it on all sides with oil, put in a clean bowl, cover and leave in a warm place to rise for 1 h.

3. Onion peel and cut into thin circles. Capers coarsely chop. Tomatoes cut into crosswise circles thicker.

4. Punch down dough and stretch with your hands into the reservoir (round or rectangular) with a thickness of approximately 1 cm to be Laid in suitable size baking dish or covered with baking paper baking sheet.

5. Put on the dough consistently tomatoes, capers and onions.

6. Pie salt, pepper, sprinkle of dried herbs, drizzle with olive oil. Bake in a preheated 200°C oven for 40-50 minutes – the onions and the dough should be Golden brown. Serve warm.
