Subaru showed the first STI-hybrid

Subaru has unveiled a hybrid hatchback modification XV, modified division of Subaru Tecnica International (STI), which is engaged in the creation of "charged" cars. The novelty is called tS, which stands for "warmed up" version.




Hatchback XV got stiffer springs and dampers, stretching the front struts and diagonal braces at the bottom and slightly modified the steering control.



In addition, the model added original 17-inch wheels, front splitter, new sills and a spoiler on the trunk lid, decorated with orange lining, black shell mirrors and grille located in the center of the rear bumper pipes of the exhaust system, as well as nameplates STI.



The power plant of the hybrid Subaru XV remained unchanged. The hatchback is still equipped with 150-horsepower two-liter boxer, 13, 6-horsepower electric motor, a set of NiMH batteries with a capacity of 5, 5 ampere-hours.



In Japan, the Subaru XV Hybrid tS will cost 3,326,400 yen (31, 7 thousand dollars). It is almost seven thousand dollars more expensive than the basic hybrid.
