Yoga and disease.

Before you begin classes in yoga, you should undergo a medical examination. Only after consent of a doctor should begin their studies. People who suffer from serious illnesses, should consult a doctor and perform only those asanas that are safe for their health.

Here are some recommendations for people with poor health:

✔Lyudi who have poor health must undergo medical testing and should implement the practice under the guidance of an expert in yoga. They should carry out a preliminary course of simple asanas for three months, and then develop your own complex. Only after they will have enough strength and will to move freely, they should move on to more advanced courses.

✔Lyudi who are in the acute stage of the disease must be cured before starting yoga practice.

✔Lyudyam high or low blood pressure, or diseases or functional disorders of organs, should practice asana Shavasana or sample corresponding to their physical condition under the supervision of a doctor or a qualified teacher. For a full practice, they can start when they became physically healthy, performing only those asanas that helped them recover, or through medical treatment.

✔Lyudi with high blood pressure should avoid inverted postures that activate the flow of blood to the head. They should avoid exercise in which the head is lowered down and the legs raised up.
People who have heart problems should consult a doctor and do not have to perform the asanas, causing tension.

✔Lyudi suffering from nasal sinusitis or other infections should avoid all inverted poses.
