PARABLE OF envy and anger

The parable of how to respond to the envy, anger, hatred and offending others

Old martial arts master has decided never to fight. But one day he still called to fight a cocky young warrior, who considered that he is much more skilled and stronger than his teacher.

However, the old master just sat there and did not react to the challenge of the proud. Then the young man began to insult him and his ancestors, to provoke a wizard, but

it did not help him. In the end, the young soldier despaired and left.

Students were surprised by the actions of the master of his teacher, and many began to blame him:

- Do not you value your honor and that of your ancestors?

Then the master said to the wise:

- When you give a gift and you do not accept, then who owns the gift?

- Of course the one who gives it!

- Just things with envy, anger and hatred. If we do not accept them, they remain at the giver.
