Marriage without the right to return home
Arin Safadi, 24 year-old woman from the Druze village of Ein Qinya located on the territory occupied by Israel. Arin was married to 35-year-old Rabia Safadi, a native of neighboring Syria, in September last year. However, due to the lack of diplomatic relations between Syria and Israel, she had to sign a document granting it the right to stay on Syrian territory - the recognition that she will never be able to return home.
