800 euros for a slap

A German court sentenced a 46-year-old father to a fine of 800 euros for having a temper he gave two slaps his rebellious daughter, and although the man claimed to have hit a child only once, in a state of stress, the court did not heed these arguments.
The incident occurred in a crowded vegetable market in Berlin's Steglitz (Steglitz), where his father came with his four-year daughter. According to the witness, this and the fact that other people in the market were pretending that nothing is happening, it stirred up, and he hastened to inform the police. Later, the case was connected to the department of juvenile daughter and the father of a four-year, he was summoned to court.
The judge did not listen to excuses that he was in a state of stress caused by the fear of losing a daughter weathered, and noted that parents have no right under the law on the use of corporal punishment in relation to their minor children.
