Back in 1999 in Russia, undoubtedly influenced by foreign films,

was opened - "Federation Cherliders" - support group sports teams.

At this point, there was one amusing incident, our officials incorrectly read a foreign word cheerleading.

And since then we say cheerleading, instead of the correct Cheerleading.
