Letters to Juliet (Letters to Juliet)

American Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), who came to Italy in the summer, did not know that in Verona, this ever ancient and ever young city forever change her own fate. Indeed, the homeland of the most romantic and beautiful story about love - love of Romeo and Juliet is very much reminiscent of this ancient legend. Desire to visit Juliet's house, to touch the walls, hear the whispers of lovers, Sophie led into a small courtyard, where thousands of hands touch the bronze statue of Juliet, and where the belief in tradition, young girls wrote letters to Juliet, leaving them on the walls, in envelopes or postcards. Sophie wandered around the old courtyard and inexplicable thrill of looking at the arches and battlements, immersed in a dream, as if not to wake up to the 13th century, when Romeo and Juliet loved each other. She carefully read the inscriptions on the walls and the notes until accidentally discovered in a wall niche yellowed envelope with a desperate recognition of the love of a girl, written 50 years ago. Inspired read, she finds a woman in England, wrote this letter. Persuading Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) to go in search of her lover Lorenzo (Franco Nero), Sophie, along with Claire and her grandson Charlie (Christopher Egan) returned to Italy. There and Sophie finds her true love, though no longer hoped to find her. Like a blessing Juliet touched Sophie, making it finally truly happy. Do not make their lovers to wait 50 years!
