Photographer captures 24 hours on a single photo
See how one photographer manages to capture one photo 24 hours. It turned out cool!
Singapore photographer Fong Qi Wei created a series of photographs, mosaics, which he called "time dimension". Images are made up of images taken at different times of day. Stunning effect is achieved by changing the lighting, which occurs during the day.
The photographer is not satisfied that any image shows a single moment in time - stopped a moment.
"Our world is not so. We live moment by moment. Therefore, the video looks more convincing than a still picture. I work with photography, because I like it. But in a way, I wanted to break out of a single cut-off time in the photos, "- says Fong Qi Wei on its website.
In his photomosaic Qi Wei uses mostly urban landscapes or views of nature. The sequence of time slices covering 2-4 hours, mainly sunrises and sunsets. The result is a fascinating picture that, according to the photographer, let you feel the time in individual still pictures.
