Food for poor

Until the mid-19th century American lobsters were considered food of the poor, used as fertilizer and fish bait. But then the interest gourmets these crustaceans began to grow rapidly, and now lobsters - a recognized delicacy. Interestingly, the more delicious soft-shelled lobsters with cheaper fish with a hard shell, the meat of which is not such a tender. This is due to the fact that soft-bodied lobster can not be transported over long distances, and can only be enjoyed in the immediate areas of fishing.
