Bright memory of 85-year-old composer-wizard Eduard Artemyev
Today it became known that in the 86th year of life went to the world another Soviet and Russian composer Artemyev Eduard. This was reported by his son Artemy Artemyev. He is widely known to the public as the author of music for films by Andrei Tarkovsky, Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrei Konchalovsky. His music plays in legendary films that are dear to our hearts.

He is called the legendary Russian composer. He wrote music for two Olympics in Russia. His songs are heard in more than 150 feature, documentary and animated films. In 1999, Artemyev received the title of People's Artist.
Among them are the films of Andrei Tarkovsky “Solaris”, “Mirror”, “Stalker”. Also, his music sounds in the films of Nikita Mikhalkov “His own among strangers, a stranger among his own”, “Slave of love”, “Unfinished play for a mechanical piano”, “A few days in the life of I.
