Is an electric car profitable now in Ukraine?

If you are thinking about buying an electric car, you need to carefully read all the advantages and disadvantages of such a car. Today I will tell you about this type of car. And you can weigh the pros and cons and make the right decision.

Buy an electric car: pros and cons In our time to buy an electric car is quite easy. And given that in Ukraine, for example, the situation with gasoline is still unstable, an electric car is a great alternative. However, before buying such a serious car, you need to think carefully.

An electric car is a complex machine. Instead of the classic internal combustion engine (ICE), it has an electric motor. The fuel tank replaces the battery. These are the main differences between an electric car and a conventional one.

Since the battery wears out over time, the power reserve of the electric car decreases. However, such a problem should not be feared. First, you have to be prepared for it, it is inevitable. It's just a matter of time. Secondly, today in Ukrainian service stations you can easily upgrade or repair the battery.

If you want to buy an electric car, keep in mind that the car will need regular long-term charging. Time varies from car to car and power source. For example, the Nissan LEAF will take 8-10 hours to charge from a household outlet, and the Tesla Model S – 25-50 hours.

But the fastest electric car can be charged at special stations for charging. However, its use is not free. However, it is still more profitable and convenient than standing in lines for gasoline and paying for it crazy money.

Based on all that has already been said, the most obvious advantage of an electric car - fuel-freeBe it gasoline, diesel or gas. In times of fuel crisis, this is very important as electricity remains not only affordable but also less expensive.

Also, the electric machine has a much lower cost of total operation. For example, it does not need to replace engine oil, spark plugs, fuel filter and other important things for traditional cars.

The simpler design of the electric car increases its reliability. The movement on the electric machine is smooth and quiet. In addition, it is environmentally friendly, because while driving such a car you will not pollute the air with exhaust fumes.

Buying a relatively cheap electric car, you need to understand that the car has a fairly limited power reserve. As a rule, it does not exceed 100-120 kilometers. Only expensive models can boast a distance of 300-500 kilometers.

Most likely, in the future, you will either have to repair or completely change the battery. This is a serious expense. Also, you need to take care of where you will charge your car regularly. Although a household outlet is suitable, it is not worth using it on a permanent basis.

If you are not ready to completely switch to an electric car, but want to reduce fuel consumption, your option - hybrid. It is designed in such a way that combines both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. This car has a fuel tank and a battery.

The main feature of this car is that you can switch between two power units. Or use their collaboration to increase the power of the machine. As a rule, for short trips within the city, drivers use an electric drive, and for long trips on the highway - an internal combustion engine.

The complex design affects the cost of the hybrid and its reliability. That has to be considered. At the same time, the more complex the design, the more problems can arise with the repair of such a car.

As you can see, every car has its pros and cons. In this case, the main thing is to understand what exactly you need the car for, and only then start from your needs when choosing it. Tell me, do you drive your car? You may already have experience driving an electric car. How's that?
