I recently saw my mom take apples out of the fridge and start peeling them. I mistakenly thought she was cooking something for dessert. As it turned out, the mother prepared the ingredients for household.

This hot seasoning she prepares from year to year. In winter, ajika with apples is just an indispensable dish on our table. We add it to soups, meat dishes and just eat with bread.





I didn’t wait for my mom to put a delicious mixture in jars and ate some hot ajiki. Be sure to prepare this seasoning according to our recipe, I assure you, you have never tried such a delicious taste!

How to prepare ajika



The ingredients
  • 5kg tomatoes
  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 1 kg of apples
  • 1kg carrots
  • 100g red spicy pepper
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 200g garlic
  • 1 tbsp 9% vinegar
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar


Preparation
  1. Peel the sweet peppers off the seeds.


  2. Peel the carrots and apples off the peel. Do not forget to remove the core from the fruit.


  3. Divide the garlic into slices, previously removing the husk. Clean the red hot pepper from the peduncles and seeds.


  4. With the help of a meat grinder grinder, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, apples and carrots. Be sure to add sunflower oil to the mixture.


  5. Put the resulting mass on a small fire and boil about 2-2.5 hours.


  6. Then add the crushed garlic, sugar, vinegar and salt. Cook ajik for another 30 minutes.


  7. While the mixture is cooked, prepare the cans: wash them well and sterilize them.


  8. Another hot adjik on the banks and roll the lids. Turn over the cans and let them cool, no need to wrap them.

Basis real ajiki are these three components: fresh hot pepper, garlic and salt. To prepare the seasoning, choose a burning garlic with a purple tint. Salt for ajiki is suitable for large, better sea. Make sure there are no additional supplements.
