Salad of beets and carrots Ingredients
- 250g potatoes
- 250g beets
- 250g carrots
- 4 eggs
- 100g onions
- 200g hard cheese
- 300ml mayonnaise
- salt
Preparation
- To begin with, boil vegetables: put potatoes in the peel, carrots and beets in boiling water (beets should be cooked separately). Potatoes and carrots are cooked on an average heat of 25-30 minutes after boiling, beets - 40-50 minutes. Check the readiness of vegetables, puncture them with a knife - if the knife easily enters the root crops, they are ready. Refrigerate the vegetables and peel them.
- Boil the eggs until ready and clean the shell.
- Potatoes, beets, carrots and sodium eggs on a large grater. Cut the onions in small cubes.
- Put the salad in layers: first lay out the potatoes, salt to taste and grease with mayonnaise. For convenience, you can use a serving ring.
- Mix the beets with onions and put the second layer. Salt again, if necessary, and grease with mayonnaise.
- The next layer is eggs and mayonnaise again.
- On top of the eggs lay carrots, mayonnaise fields and sprinkle a layer of grated cheese. Send the salad to the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove the serving ring, decorate the salad with flowers carved from beets and cheese, stems of green onions, seeds of pomegranate and quickly serve to the festive table. Look!
