Grandma's nettle salad, the recipe was given by a compassionate woman in a clinic

Spring, vitamin deficiency... Familiar? But with the appearance of the first green can help yourself. On the table there can be not only green onions, spinach, dill, parsley from the supermarket, but also forest cherry, nettle. From the latter you can make a magnificent fresh-green.

This useful plant was enjoyed by our grandmothers. There are so many vitamins and trace elements in nettles, and we only cook green soup or borscht with the addition of nettles. Let’s re-introduce these first spring vitamins!



Fresh green salad is the most suitable for consumption nettle. It is advisable to tear the tops of 5-7 cm. Then the plants should be washed and blanched - this will remove the burning. To do this, throw nettle in salted boiling water for 1 minute and take it out in cold water to maximize the benefits and vitamins. Then put it on a sieve, the excess liquid should drain.



The ingredients
  • 60g fresh nettle
  • 1 sour or sweet sour apple
  • 35-50g walnuts
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • lemon juice


Preparation
  1. Blanched nettle is randomly cut.
  2. Cut the apple at will with straws or thin slices.



  3. Pre-fry the walnuts, then grind them.



  4. Mix all the ingredients, fill them with vegetable oil and lemon juice. Stir it.





If desired, you can add garlic, lettuce leaves or boiled egg to the dish.



And you can fill it with sour cream. Not bad also nettle will be combined with orange.
