Preparing sushi with an ice mold

Sushi is an incredibly tasty, hearty and healthy dish, which for many has become familiar and beloved. Only deftly turn rice and fish into neat and identical in size and shape cubes, as chefs do, is given to few. But there's a way. This is lazy sushi in ... ice molds.





We will prepare this dish with red fish, avocado, shrimp, cottage cheese and crab sticks. You can experiment by changing the ingredients as you wish. Those who have not yet formed sushi in ice molds, have a chance to try!

Lazy Sushi Ingredients for Sushi
  • 250g fine-grained rice
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • sesame
  • large-cell


Filling ingredients
  • smoked salmon
  • crabsticks
  • avocado
  • shrimp
  • cheese
  • mayonnaise


Preparation
  1. Wash the rice under running water. Pour water in a ratio of 1: 2 (2 parts water and 1 part rice).


  2. Boil rice on low heat for 6-8 minutes. Pour the water and let the rice dry.


  3. In dried rice, add rice vinegar mixed with sugar and salt.
  4. Put rice in the microwave for 40 seconds (800 watts). Add sesame in both colors.


  5. Cut the fish in thin slices. Use a vegetable peel to cut thin slices of avocado.


  6. Cover the ice mold with food film.


  7. In the first row, lay on top of the film a piece of salmon and a teaspoon of cottage cheese.


  8. In the second row - two slices of avocado and a piece of crab stick.


  9. In the third row - on a shrimp and a spoonful of mayonnaise.


  10. Then lay out the rice and press it so that it is level with the top of the shape.


  11. Send the form to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  12. Turn the ice mold over to a flat surface and remove the shape.


  13. The lazy sushi is ready. Take the film off them and serve it to the table with pickled ginger and soy sauce.
