Cucumbers in tomatoes for winter Ingredients
- 1.5kg cucumbers
- 3kg tomatoes
- 4 liters of water
- pepper-pea
- pepper-pea
- 4 bay leaves
- 2.5 tbsp salt
- 4.5 tbsp sugar
- 4.5 tbsp vinegar
Preparation
- First, the cucumbers need to be thoroughly washed, and then spread them in jars. In one liter jar, place 6-7 cucumbers, no more (as we need to leave room for tomatoes).
After that, in each jar with cucumbers, place 2 pcs. scented pepper and 5 pcs. black pepper with peas. And also spread out in jars on one bay leaf.
- Then wash the tomatoes and cut them into halves. If necessary, remove the roots, and the tomatoes themselves scroll through the meat grinder. You can also use a blender. Put the crushed tomatoes in a pan and put them on a medium fire.
- Next, you need to wait until the tomato mass boils, constantly stirring it. And when the tomatoes begin to boil, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the fire and cook the mass for another 20 minutes.
Five minutes before tomatoes need to be removed from the fire, add salt, sugar and vinegar to the pan (in the amount indicated in the ingredients).
- While the tomato pour will be boiled, boil clean water and pour cucumbers with boiling water to the very edges of the cans. Give cucumbers 15 minutes, and then drain the water, covering each jar with a lid.
- In the end, it remains only to quickly pour hot tomato pour on cans of cucumbers and roll them.
