And she smiles and says, "Do you remember the potato sausages?" The favorite dish of our childhood! Oh, and then I realized that's what I wanted. Thanking my sister for the idea, I started cooking. Fortunately, I know this recipe well, since it was written down long ago by my mother’s hand in a notebook with recipes.

What can be made from potato ingredients
  • 2 kg potatoes
  • 500g meat
  • 400g lard
  • 2 bulbs

Preparation
  1. I will say right away that in my childhood, such a sausage was cooked only with lard, but if you add meat, it will taste even better. Cut the loaf in cubes, the meat in bigger pieces. Roast the lard in the pan for a minute, then add the meat and roast everything to a golden color. Peel and finely chop the onions. Onions add to the meat with fat and also roast until golden.





  2. Peel the potatoes and rub them on a fine grater, like on tannics. To the crushed potatoes add lard with meat and onions. At the same time, you need to shift lard with meat so that the fat that was formed from frying does not fall to potatoes. Also add crushed garlic, milk, salt, pepper and seasoning to the potatoes, in addition, mancu. Stir it all together.





  3. Pig intestine thoroughly washed and leave in a solution of water with vinegar (2 liters of water is 1 cup of 9% vinegar) for half an hour. Wash the shell well under running water. And if you do not want to use the intestine, you can buy special shells in the store for the formation of sausages.



  4. Tie one side of the bowel with a thread. Fill your gut with a finished mass. Note that you need to fill no more than half of the intestine. Then tie the thread and the second end of the shell.



  5. Bake meat with vegetable oil or fat. Place the potato sausage so that the workpieces do not touch each other. In each sausage, make 15-20 punctures along the entire length. Bake the sausage in a preheated to 180 degrees oven for about 1.5 hours.
