Recently, my childhood friend came home from Italy. The fact that recently she met a nice Italian, who soon called her under the crown and took her abroad.
To my great surprise, my friend did not focus on the role of a faithful wife and a housewife, she completed a course of makeup and now works in a small beauty salon.
When she came home, she invited all her friends to Italian. The crown dish of the hostess was a special casserole - salame di verdura (literally translated as "salami with vegetables"). It turns out that this dish is a real relic of her husband's family.
Women passed the recipe from mother-in-law to daughter-in-law and from mother to daughter from generation to generation. I asked my friend about the intricacies of cooking this dish, and this is what she told me.
