As my five year old son learned how to be ironic without knowing

Son is five years old. Yesterday afternoon took a walk in the Park. Came to the Playground, and there, near the swing plays another kid. Apparently, the boy was a little older my Alyosha, as his troublesome Granny ran around him and without stopping pulled:
— Edward, honey, be careful! Edward, come on, come on! Even now, the boy's touches, and it's small, will fall and will cry.
We looked at all this with the boys and then went for a walk. And then my baby gives:
— Mommy, and Edward is abbreviated from Idiot?
