The biggest goal you can set is peace with your life, regardless of the circumstances. 1. Don't look for happiness.
If you search for it, you will not find, because seeking is the antithesis of happiness. Happiness is always elusive, but freedom from unhappiness is attainable now, rather accepting what is than writing stories about it. 2. The initial cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thought about it.

They don't realize that what happens is the most unstable thing in the universe. It is constantly changing. They see the moment or, as marred by something that happens but should not happen, either, as insufficient, due to the fact that something happens, but they should be.
So they miss the deeper perfection that is inherent to life itself, a perfection that is always already here, outside what is happening or not happening, beyond form.
Take the moment and find the perfection that is deeper than any form and untouched by time. 7. The more of the past apply to your relationship, the more present you need to be,
otherwise, you will be forced to relive your past again and again.8. Equating the physical sense-receptive body, whose fate to grow old, wither and die, but
sooner or later, always leads to suffering. To refrain from identification with the body does not mean to neglect, despise or don't take care of it. If it is strong, beautiful, energetic, you can enjoy and appreciate these properties until they are. You can also improve the state of the body proper diet and exercise.
