Fragrant pumpkin bread with oatmeal
Very tasty, fragrant and sweet bread (or cake)
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup of oatmeal
1 Cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 Cup pecans or walnuts (finely chopped)
1 Cup pumpkin puree
3/4 Cup maple syrup
1/3 Cup butter
2 eggs
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 175С.
2. Lubricate the form.
3. In a food processor to grind the oatmeal until fine crumbs.
4. Add the flour, spices, soda and nuts.
5. In another bowl, mix puree, syrup, oil and eggs.
6. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.
7. Pour mixture into the form and bake in the oven for 50 minutes (or until tender).
