How to cook celery in batter: vegan recipe

A very simple recipe for vegan roasted celery is delicious and healthy.We offer you to diversify the winter menu healthy and delicious dish which takes very little of your time and a minimal set of products.

Ingredients:

  • celery root




For the batter:

  • 400 ml. of water,
  • 8 tablespoons of flour (you can use pea flour or mixture of flours),
  • 2 tsp black Himalayan salt or regular ground black pepper and turmeric, and asafetida.
 

Preparation:



 

1. Celery root peeled and cut into very thin, the thinner the better.

2. Prepare the batter: mix water, flour, spices and salt should be the consistency of a thick cream.

3. On a well-heated pan pour a little oil.

4. A piece of celery to dip in batter and put in a pan, fry on both sides until Golden brown

or

4. In a pan pour a spoon a little batter, put it on a piece of celery and top with a little of the batter, close them and the surface of celery, fry on both sides.
