To report on the achieved result, the city administration was able after the commissioning of a large solar power Boulder Solar 1, built on the southeastern edge of Nevada.

Boulder Solar 1, in combination with other local sources of clean energy such as geothermal installation and solar panels on many roofs all over Las Vegas, will now provide 100 percent of municipal facilities of the city.



The transition to renewable energy sources started in 2008 and since then began to save the city about $5 million, and during this time has managed to reduce energy consumption by approximately 30%.
