"Quantum" electric car nanoFlowcell will launch a series of
Liechtenstein company nanoFlowcell has started negotiations with major automakers about the possibility of mass production "quantum" of electric cars, is powered by flow batteries.
The name of the company that was interested in technology nanoFlowcell, is kept secret. It is only known that it was "a major manufacturer from Germany". According to La Vecchia, the serial electric car, as a system for "refreshing" may appear after four or five years.
The first prototype of the nanoFlowcell called QUANT e-Sportlimousine, made its debut at the Geneva motor show in 2014. The concept equipped with four electric motors with a total capacity of 653 horsepower (peak power of 925 HP).
The units are powered by flow batteries. The system contains two tanks with the electrolytes using a pump received in the chamber, is divided into two parts of ion-exchange membrane. A chemical reaction occurs, which produces electricity that is transmitted to the supercapacitor, and the electric motors.
In the spring of 2015, the company nanoFlowcell showed a concept car Quantino, and a year later debuted his updated version. This model company from Liechtenstein plans to launch a series.
The prototype with the landing formula 2+2 is equipped with four electric motors, outstanding at 109 horsepower each, as well as flow batteries with 175-litre tanks of ionic liquid. In February of 2016 nanoFlowcell tested Quantino, in which "quantum" electric car drove without stopping for 14 hours at an average speed of 74 kilometers per hour. published
